Reusable Stainless Steel Ear Cleaner

This ear cleaner is a local and plastic-free alternative to conventional single-use cotton buds, and also to reusable bamboo oriculis. It is handcrafted by a Breton artisan in France from local hornbeam timber and medical grade stainless steel.

Nowadays, the sale of single-use plastic ear buds has finally been banned, however those made of cardboard and bamboo are also less than ideal. In order to reduce our impact on the natural world around us it is important to choose to buy products that are long-lasting and reusable.

Characteristics:

• It is made of local PEFC certified hornbeam wood and 316L medical grade stainless steel.
• Completely plastic-free and very durable.
• It has its own cap, making it more hygienic and easy to store away.
• The wood has been stained with water-based stains and natural pigments.

• Available in various colours. Each ear cleaner is unique and the colour may slightly vary.
• This ear cleaner is made to last a lifetime, however if for whatever reason there comes a time you need to dispose of one, the wood is compostable and the stainless steel can be recycled.

Instructions for Use:

• Only use the cleaner in the external part of your ear canal. It is important not to insert it too far in, in order to avoid damaging your eardrum.
• Clean every 7 – 10 days.
• Disinfect the cleaner before first use and then repeat every so often.
• After each use, wipe the Escurette clean with a cotton cloth and once dry store it with its cap on.
• When cleaning your outer ear we recommend you use a cotton towel.
• Keep out of reach of children.
