Bitter Orange Soap Flakes

Soap flakes are grated bars of soap that are very convenient to use, either as they are or mixed with water.

What you can do with the soap flakes:

– Use them with your bath glove or scrubber
– Put the flakes in a cotton or muslin bag to scent your drawers
– Make your own liquid soap! Pour the content of the bag in 250-35oml (depending on how rowable you like it) warm, distilled water and stir until diluted. Put the liquid soap in a bottle and it’s ready to use! If the solution separates, simply shake the bottle well. This happens because the solution does not contain emulsifiers to homogenize the ingredients (olive oil and water).

Orange and petitgrain essential oils give a sweet, fresh and stimulating scent to these soaps, and soothing and astringent qualities. Annatto and olive kernel powder add gentle exfoliating properties.
